Welcome to my world—where muddy boots, wild places, and spontaneous detours are all part of the plan. I’m Helen, but you can call me H. If there’s an adventure to be had, chances are I’ve either done it, planned it, or am currently knee-deep in it (sometimes literally).

For over three decades, I’ve roamed the landscapes of this beautiful, unpredictable planet—hiking, biking, paddling, and occasionally tripping over tree roots in the name of exploration. From the dense Fiordland bush to the windswept ridges of the Southern Alps, my happy place is anywhere that smells of adventure (or at least a well-earned campfire dinner).

But adventure isn’t just about epic landscapes and heart-pounding moments—it’s a way of life. It’s about saying “yes” when the easy option is “Nah,” embracing the unknown, and laughing when things don’t go to plan (which they often don’t). It’s about the people you meet, the stories you collect, and the memories that stick long after the mud has been washed away.
